Ruby Mae’s AMA – A Peek Inside My World
The last few months I saved my most asked questions and decided to create a little AMA with a few extra prompts from my personal assistant turned late-night journalist, ChatGPT, of course.
So, here we are. Let’s get into it!
1. Where’s that cute accent from, exactly?
I’ve moved quite a bit, and somewhere along the way, I picked up an accent no one can quite place. Let’s just say I’ve finally found home in NYC… but if you want the full story, you’ll have to ask me in person. 😉
2. What do you collect?
Books, pens from every museum I visit, and far too much lingerie for my bank account’s comfort. Oh, and recipes to try out.
3. What were you like in high school?
Total nerd. I was not shy at all. You did not want to get into an argument with me back then. Oh and I studied Latin, willingly.
I actually liked school and was always curious about… everything. But I also was really bored by school. I would either read, play games on my phone/laptop or do my homework during class.
There was a phase, where I had horrible glasses. Think: literal Hermoine Granger.
But with DDs.
So, I was still pretty popular.
4. What turns you on (besides eye contact and confidence)?
Someone who’s present. Who listens with intention and touches with purpose.
Slow hands, and someone who tells me what they’re thinking (especially when it’s not entirely appropriate).
Also... I love when a man takes the time to explain something to me. I love seeing his eyes lighten up because he gets passionate. Bonus points if he gets a little distracted by how I’m looking at him while he does it.
5. Can I bring you flowers or is that cringe?
You absolutely can. I’ll never say no to a beautiful gesture, Tulips and Roses are my favorites.
6. Do you like being spoiled?
Yes, I do.I differentiate between getting spoiled with attention, time and gifts. And I love al of those.
I love when a man pays attention, when he takes note of the little things I enjoy or need. Booking a room with a bathtub because he knows I adore long soaks for our FMTY. Picking something from my wishlist that I’ve been eyeing to buy for a while. Gifting me a book he thinks I’ll love reading. Thoughtfulness is the ultimate turn-on.
7. Guilty pleasures?
Romantic men.

8. When do you feel most like yourself?
When I’m creating, writing something new, dancing, setting the mood for a date … and at night.. I have not yet overcome my night owl tendencies of creating for hours and forgetting to go to bed.
9. What’s something about intimacy people often get wrong?
That it’s only about sex. Real intimacy is in the in-between.
10. What do you think makes you unforgettable?
Unfair question, I think you should answer that.
11. What’s the most romantic thing someone’s done for you?
That’s a secret. A lady enjoys but never tells.
12. Do you ever get lonely?
Hahahahaha doesn’t everyone? I think it’s quite normal to feel lonely once everywhile.
I do enjoy solitude. My work (and I’m not talking about this) requires me to be quite social so I actually like being alone once in a while.
13. What’s something you’ve learned about men that surprised you?
How deeply they want to be seen. Not just desired, but understood. So many of them carry the world on their shoulders, and no one ever asks how that feels.
Once they feel safe, once they realize they don’t have to perform, they melt. And I love to make them melt… ( is that too corny?)
14. What’s something you’re still healing from?
Overthinking.
Romanticizing hustling.
15. What scares you (that you’ll admit)?
Being bored of life.
And old staircases and bridges. Seriously—those creaky, ancient ones in castles? They terrify me. But I still climb them because I love historical sights ( yes I am still a bit nerdy)…
16. What’s your go-to vibe when it comes to music?
Oh no… I don’t like sharing my playlist. It’s way too personal…it feels like letting someone into the deepest part of my mind.
But if I had to give you a little peek… think: rave beats, electro, rap (yes, including German rap), musicals, and a sprinkle of something French. Make of that what you will.
17. What do you wear on a date?
It depends on the kind of date…
For dinner? A dress that hugs my curves, soft perfume, lingerie,…
For a cozy morning? Silk, bare legs.
Indoor? Something quite provoking…or nothing under a dress that is easily removed…
18. Where would you move tomorrow if you could go anywhere?
An apartment with a bathtub.
Seriously.
19. Are you dominant or submissive?
Both. I’m a switch, but with a delicious tendency to melt into submission.
Still, don’t be surprised if I flip the script mid-session just to watch you squirm. I do love to tease and to be teasingly in control.
20. What do you think is your weirdest habit?
I hold my towels with my boobs when I walk around after a shower. Just feels… efficient?
21. What’s something spicy that makes you laugh instead of moan?
Man sits down at the bar and orders 10 shots. Bartender goes "Jesus, you celebrating something?" The man answers, "Why yes, my first blow job" The bartender congratulates the man and offers the 11th shot on the house. The man, however, declines the offer. "If 10 doesn't get rid of the taste, 11 sure as hell won't".
22.What’s your favorite secret power in the bedroom?
I can’t tell you.
If I did, it wouldn’t be a secret anymore.

23. What’s your dream date bucket list?
I’ve got a few, so buckle up:
– A FMTY to a location with a beach, beautiful ocean, …
– Watching the Northern Lights
– A well-curated sex party
24. What’s one belief that’s quietly shaped your whole life?
“Don’t be bored by life.”
It’s not quite carpe diem—but it’s in the family. I want to feel alive. Curious. Slightly chaotic. I’ve built a life around chasing stories worth telling.
